Summer Days

Another gorgeous week in central New York!  The weather was not too hot and not TOO cold...it was just right!

Daddy jungle gym!



We all LOVED the trampoline that Auntie Holly and Uncle Alek had and after applying enough "family and neighbor (Gianna :) peer pressure," DADDY surprised us all with a trampoline on Friday afternoon! THANKS Daddy!!!!  Mommy then immediately called Gianna so that she could join in on the "bounce" (Addie's phrase..."I want to bounce...") fun.

On Saturday afternoon, A^4 went to Daddy's colleague, Scott's, house for an "Un-Birthday Party"...so games, gifts, and cake but celebrating everyone's birthday!

Scott's wife (a school teacher) kept the kids busy with tattoos, water balloon games, pinata bashing, gifts, cake, glow sticks, AND s'mores. Scott was in charge of grilling the meat, the hay ride, the bonfire, and the fireworks :)  Mommy thinks Tricia had the more tiring (but more rewarding) job!

On Sunday we went to the "big park" so that Ayson could do a little fishing (he caught a fish...but then Daddy let it go) and ride his bike now that Ayson can push off and ride his two-wheeler all on his own. However, Ayson was not interested in riding his bike. He wanted to fish and play on the playground!

Sunday afternoon involved more bouncing and pool time in our pool AND Gianna's pool. Mommy inflated the turtle that Kathy gave to Ayson as a gift, during our trip to the Soo, and both kids LOVED floating on the turtle, Jason (Ayson named him...we also are in possesion of a blue seahorse named Janice :) Mommy will get pics of the kids on Jason next week.
