Sunshine (parent to Khanlen and Mikhan) took a bunch of pictures of the kids in the bounce house portion of the birthday party last weekend and shared them with Mommy. Thanks, Sunshine!

On Monday night, the kids talked with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger (to sing Happy Birthday to Addie)
Ayson working on his Thank You notes. Mommy helped Ayson with at least 2 cards a night (with the weekend off for good behavior). He was back to working on his thank you today (Sunday).
For St Patty's Day, Mommy helped Ayson pick out green clothes from top to bottom (including his underwear :)

On Thursday morning, the kids were cuddling and rolling around on Mommy and Daddy's bed. Too bad Mommy did not catch a better picutre.
(Grandma Collene, during the winter we use the super warm sunflower quilt that Janet Smith made for us as a wedding gift. Not to worry, your gorgeous quilt will make its appearance once the weather warms up :)

Since our last two weekends were action packed, A^4 just hung out and had fun at home playing with the new games/toys.
Although randomly, the game pictured is "The Honey Bee Tree." (This is a game that Gianna and her Mom, Jo, gave to the kids last summer and Mommy thought Addie would enjoy it now)
The goal is to pull out the leaves/branches (sticks) and hope the bees (that are placed on top of the branches) do not fall through...the object is to get the least amount of bees.

On Saturday night, Daddy made a dinner that paired well with a grenache wine. Daddy did a fantastic job with a Panko crusted chicken and caprice salad (soy beans pair, also known as green peanuts to the kids, went well with it too!). Yum!
However, 3 of us ended up in Time Out for uttering the word "fart" at the table. Addie was the first to say "fart," followed by Daddy, and then Mommy slipped up. Imagine the conversation that took place...the topic of "fart" HAD to of lasted more than a minute...sigh...did Mommy mention the food was yummy? :)

For their birthdays, the kids each got one individual gift from Mommy/Daddy and then one joint gift. The joint gift was "Magic Rocks" that "grow" in a sodium silicate/water solution. The kids LOVED watching the stalagmites grow.
Notice the tape between their heads...Mommy had to "draw the line" so that the kids would not cross it, touch the tray or tank, and disturb the growing stalagmites.

Another of Ayson's cool gifts. A robot building kit and this kit uses house hold items like CDs and cans for parts...AND it was solar powered!
Saturday was a "balmy," in the high 20s, and we all went for a short walk in the orchard. We only walked a short loop and luckily we did not break through the top layer of snow too much (no "post hole" walking) AND Addie walked the entire time! She took a looong nap that afternoon :)

Sunday was a repeat of Saturday and it was awesome! :)
