Off to the races on Monday evening! On your mark, get set, GO!
The kiddos love to run back and forth from the kitchen, through the dinning room, and into the playroom. Luckily these floors are more forgiving than the tile floors in the Boys Room when the kids fall down.
Fort time on Wednesday. The kids LOVE to pretend to be cats and dogs. Addie insists and being called "kitty" and will get upset when Mommy calls Addie by her name...sigh...it's only a phase :) While getting ready for bed at night "Kitty" will tell Mommy "wash my PAWS, Mumma, not my hands."
On Friday, the kiddos stayed home due to low grade fevers and sore throats (they were both feeling better by Saturday). Ayson decided he wanted to build a Buzz Light Year Spaceship. He asked Mommy to put on the Toy Story movie so that we could see what the spaceship looked like. Mommy then took a picture of the movie (that was paused) then we put the picture on the computer so that Ayson could see the spaceship close up.

We used Daddy's shoe box and then Mommy covered it in heavy paper so that Ayson could color in the designs on the spaceship. Ayson insisted on having wings and a window AND covering the window with plastic wrap so that his spaceship could look like the real thing (Mommy made the executive decision of not making the window as big as in the movie...luckily, Ayson was ok with the design change :)! Look closely at Ayson's spaceship, and you can see Buzz inside.
Addie also wanted in on the fun so Mommy set her up with the water color paint set from Grandma Collene.
Playing catch with Daddy Friday night. Addie has a pretty strong throw!

Oopsie!

It's ok, ALL smiles!

Addie built one very tall "castle" and then when she could not add any more blocks to the first "castle," she started building a second "castle."

Ayson's hair was getting out of control so we all made a trip to Syracuse so Ayson and Daddy could see Barber Sam and Mommy could fill out the forms for the kiddo's bounce house birthday party planned for March 14th.

Crazy that Ayson will be FIVE on March 8th!!!

Here is a flash back to Ayson's FIRST year birthday hair cut from Barber Sam. Ayson had to sit on Daddy's lap for this go around...look at the pretty baby curls :) Now Ayson sits on booster seat in the barbers chair!
Daddy and Ayson dug out two awesome snow caves in the front yard Saturday afternoon. The temps were perfect over the weekend for playing outside (24-29 degrees)

Daddy working on the home made radio that came with Ayson's invention kit (the telegraph was the last completed invention). Daddy and Ayson could not get the radio to work, but they will try again!
Mommy and the kiddos Sunday afternoon. The snow caves are situated perfectly off of the main walkway to the house so that we do not have to post hole or wade through deep snow to get to the forts!
