Ayson started his summer program (a school program). On Monday and Fridays, Ayson goes to Adam's Eden Camp (here is the website: http://adamsedencamp.com/) for a bit of outdoor fun. Tuesday was a "special guest" but Mommy never found out who it was. On Wednesday the kids went to the movies and saw "Inside Out" (sometimes they will play mini golf), and on Thursday they were supposed to go to the beach (in Jamesville: http://www.onondagacountyparks.com/parks/jamesville-beach-park/) but the weather did not cooperate :(
Ayson was one tired 5 year old by the end of each day!!
Addie is doing well and is learning her numbers and left/rights along with Ayson. It is so neat to watch the little "sponges" take it all in. She is sleeping only in underwear during the night and so far so good! (sometimes she will just pee in her pullup instead of letting Mommy know that she needs to go potty)
Cuddle bugs! On Monday morning, Daddy did not go to the gym and wanted to cuddle with the kiddos...Addie declined :( so Mommy went and picked up a sleeping Ayson and deposited him into bed.

We started going over Ayson's summer school work this week...15 minutes after dinner each night!
Ayson practicing his numbers, 1-20.

Tuesday:
Catching and throwing the beach ball into the trampoline with Gianna. Gianna got her braces off on Tuesday...YAY!

Good catch, Addie!

Bouncing with Mommy on a cooler Wednesday.

Thursday
Ayson read a story pretty much by himself: "Bonkers likes to bark, Bonkers barks at: cats, cars, kids, bikes"...AND robots! There were 2 blank pages at the end of the story and Ayson drew Bonkers and a ROBOT and then wrote out that Bonkers likes to bark at robots! Pretty neat idea!

Friday night was gorgeous after the rain and dreariness this week and we picked peas and raspberries from the garden and lounged on the swing. The palm plant is STILL blooming (to the left of the swing)!

The sunflowers are about the same height as Addie but not for long...

Up in the air!

Lincoln Log fun on Friday night before bed.

On Saturday, we went to Labrador Hollow Unique area (10 min from our house) for a bit of fishing and hiking. Ayson did NOT want to kayak :( He stated that he only wants to go on Daddy's "speed boat")

Ayson caught 2 sunfish with his NEW fishing pole!
TaDA!!!!

Lucky girl, she caught a fish with EVERY cast :)

We then walked to the falls and actually climbed the steep steps (cut into the rocks) that go up and behind the falls.

Ayson and Daddy continued on and went to the top of the falls while Mommy and Addie went back down.
Whoa!

Ayson and Daddy looking down at Mommy and Addie...Helloooo!

More sprinkler/trampoline fun after Addie's nap!

Ayson ASKED for a mohawk today and Daddy finally relented (Daddy does not like to "cheat" on Barber Sam and get Asyon's hair cut by anyone else...)

Cliff hanger: The final look will show up in the blog next week :)
