Plenty of A^4 Together Time

Three out of four of A^4 were down with one sort of sickness or another.  Ayson had it the worst and the longest while Addie just had a low grade fever.  Mommy ended up staying home with the kiddos Monday through Wednesday and a sick Daddy stayed home with Addie on Thursday.  The kiddos spent a lot of time together this week and weekend and they got a long pretty well!  By the end of the weekend, the kiddos were playing, putting puzzles together, and playing hide and seek together..all on their own (without Mommy/Daddy suggesting they play together)! Mommy and Daddy love to hear the kiddos laugh and have fun together.

On Wednesday Mommy and Addie worked on painting Addie's "Anna" bank,


a puzzle,


and Addie played with the "Frozen" story book figurines...very cool set!!!


Addie was well enough to go to Linda's on Friday (but she had a rough start to her morning) so Linda sent Mommy a picture to let Mommy know that Addie was doing just fine :)


On Friday night, Addie wanted to do a puppet show:  you can just make out Addie's little hand waving the wand (puppet) on the back side of the ottoman :)

On Saturday, we completed 2 "That's Gross Science Lab" experiments...not so much gross as COOL. We learned about density and surface tension and water loving and fat loving household items.
The milk/food coloring/soap experiment was the most fun for the kiddos!






After lunch, we went for a walk and of course the kiddos had to get in the water!




Mommy had to hold the walking sticks so that the kiddos could play on the mulch piles.


Once we got back to the house, we played with the milk one more time!




On Sunday, Ayson helped Daddy take out the drywall and nails in the downstairs bathroom.  Nice job, boys!

Sunday evening, Ayson wanted to show Mommy and Daddy a "Toy Story" play: the scene is when Buzz is fixing his spaceship after "crash landing" on Andy's bed.  Ayson is fixing the spaceship :)
Addie was wiped out at this point and just wanted to sleep.
