LAST Week of School!

Last week brought the end of the school year!  On Monday, Ayson had a 2nd Grade Awards ceremony (Mommy attended), Addie had a Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday (Adam attended as Mommy was away for work), and Addie and Ayson had lacrosse practice.  We also celebrated Father's Day with Daddy and went for a hike to Labrador Unique Area on Saturday.
We hope everyone has a fun filled summer!

This Flag Day photo of Addie's class was in the superintendent's weekly post - to cute!

Mrs Kolbeck talking about how about how funny Ayson can be during the 2nd Grade award ceremony

Ayson has repeatedly told us that he is the class clown and we have been trying to reinforce the fact that he can make others laugh BUT that he must be respectful to Mrs Kolbeck and to listen to her.

Mrs Kolbeck receiving her Thank You gift from the class.

Monday was super warm so after school, the kiddos went swimming in Neighbor Gianna's pool...yay for the last week of school!!!

Giving Adam his Father's Day gifts (since we got home so late last Sunday, we waited to celebrate with Daddy on Monday)

Zoom in to read what the kiddos wrote - hilarious!

We also waited until Monday night to write a note to the Tooth Fairy  - please don't take the tooth!

Ayson had also written a note to the Tooth Fairy wanting to know if the Tooth Fairy like lacrosse and to "please write me back!"

Addie's Kindergarten Graduation ceremony was on Wednesday.  Mommy was out of town but Daddy and Valerie (Wakon's mom) were able to get some great photos!!

Mrs Long gave each of her students a Beanie Baby!  Thank you, Mrs Long!

Pretty sun set and moon on Thursday night

On Saturday, we went to Labrador Unique Area to check out the blueberry crop and to hunt for salamanders.  The weather was cool but perfect for a hike (lots of people out on the trails!)
Checking out an interesting caterpillar.

All along the board walk are blueberry bushes. In about another 2 -3 weeks they should be ripe!!!
Addie's pretty curls

Addie showing Mommy the moth she found and...

A cool fossil Ayson found!

Our kiddos and another family of kids (of all ages) looking for salamanders.  We found/saw at least 10 of all different sizes!

Ayson even found a dead two-lined salamander and both kids wanted a picture with it:)

Saturday night, Neighbor Denise offered to watch the kids so we could have a date night!!!  We went to a new (and yummy) restaurant in Jamesville (about 10 minutes from us) and then went kayaking!  What a great evening and we are so fortunate to have such great friends!  Thanks, Denise!  Perfect end to a great Saturday!
