Fun Outside!!!!

Another fun week with A^4!  The weather was really cool at night and in the 60s and low 70s during the day...perfect for playing outside.  Mommy has lots of pictures to share this week, so enjoy!!

Mommy and Daddy know that Ayson is a little sponge but sometimes we forget.  Ayson repeated a few sayings of Daddy's (related to food) this week.  Mommy does not remember the exact words but "nasty" and "going to waste" came out of the mouth of babes :)
Addie latest word: puppy and "Mommy" in addition to "Mumma".  Addie also said "bye bye Gianna" as we were leaving the park to go to bed this week.

Tuesday:
Ayson helping Daddy get his breakfast ready but Ayson was a bit cold:)

Addie running full steam ahead!

Addie is pretty good at throwing the ball and in this picture, both Daddy and Ayson are surprised at her quickness.

Tickle time!

Wednesday:
Ayson playing catch with Daddy and Gianna.

Slam dunk!

Daddy tried to lift Ayson up over Daddy's head and closer to the basket but Ayson was frightened...so a shoulder shot was the way to go!

Gianna and Addie.
Mommy is sad that Addie is losing her baby fat.  Luckily, Addie still loves to cuddle!!!

Baby Doll was getting tired but Mommy wanted a picture of the girls.

Thursday:
Asyon kept asking Gianna to chase him so Gianna did.

Then she took him over to the garbage can and pretended to put him in!  Ayson LOVED it!!

Addie:  "Hi Mommy!"

The three amigos

Friday:
Addie cuddling with Daddy Friday morning.

Weeeeee!  More fun at the park on Friday evening!  Ayson has pretty much figured out how to pump his legs to keep the swing moving...great job, Big Guy!

Ayson cuddling with Daddy Friday night.

Saturday:
The day turned out mostly rainy but the kids had fun inside.
Mommy can't believe that Ayson can still fit into the barn.  Addie got a kick out of closing Ayson inside.  Notice Ayson's arm sticking out of the barn window :)

She then crawled halfway in herself!

Daddy and Ayson working on the drywall in the pantry and soon-to-be "new" laundry room.

Later that day, Addie wanted in on the excitement too.  Yes, the electricity was off on the crazy wires sticking out of the wall :)

Sunday:
Ayson announced that he wanted to buy everyone ice cream!  Yum and thanks, Ayson!

The green capped tube is the container that holds Ayson's money...a total of 18 cents.  Mommy helped cover the rest of the bill :)

Happy Labor Day!

Wow, September is here!
Ayson is already looking forward to the Apple Festival (not until Columbus weekend) and just about everyday Ayson asks when we are going to go to the festival :)  He does not want to miss out on the petting farm, the carnival rides, or the yummy treats!

Addie told Mommy on Saturday "poopy" and when Mommy asked Addie if she had a poopy diaper, Addie walked to the bathroom (to get her diaper changed).
When Addie is ready for night night, she walks over to the stairs and starts shaking the gate.  She is also interested in crayons...nibbling on them and sorting them with a bit of scribbling thrown in at the end.

Tuesday:
Addie having fun with Daddy

Weeee!!!

Wednesday:
Ayson is not the only one who likes popsicles.  Daddy and Addie have to share the orange popsicles...or someone has a FIT :)

Daddy and Ayson getting in some fighter plane time.

A picture from Daddy's walk on Wednesday evening.

Thursday:
Mommy and Addie cuddling on the floor.  Mommy did not realize how rough the kids are when they play on the floor!  They totally barrel right over...Mommy has more sympathy for Daddy now!

Ayson still eating his dinner...

Saturday:
Grandpa Chuck came over for a visit with the family and to watch the Clemson game (Clemson won :)
Grandpa posing with the kids and the toys that Grandpa brought them.  Thanks, Grandpa!

Smiles with Grandpa.

More floor time.

On Sunday morning, Grandpa helped Daddy make meatballs.

We then went over to the park so that Grandpa could see Ayson ride his bike.

Ayson giving Addie a BIG hug.

Splish splashing on Sunday afternoon.

We made 2 pies on Sunday, apple and peach...both made with home grown fruit....yum!

On Monday, Daddy started the process of moving the pipes for the washer and dryer (currently in the downstairs half bathroom) into the pantry.  Ayson kept asking Daddy lots of questions and was totally enthralled with what Daddy was doing.

Family Fun

A^4 had an uneventful week and then we spent the weekend with Daddy's family for the 3rd annual Rib Off.  We had a great time visiting with family and friends.  Thanks Aunt Julie and Uncle Dan for hosting this year!

Addie is teething and has not been complaining that much but it still can't be fun...poor girl!
Addie's words for the week: milk, Gianna, and ... (...Mommy can't remember the 3rd word but when she does, she will fill it in!).  The third word was EAT!

Ayson picked up a new term this week, "I hate you"...which was directed at Mommy.  Mommy told him that was a very hurtful phrase and that saying it to anyone would make the person very sad and would result in an automatic extended timeout.  He said "is it worse than saying poop at the table?"...Yes.  For balance, Ayson has been telling Mommy that he loves me without prompt (Mommy usually starts by saying "Guess what...I love you, Guess what, I think you're great, Guess what, I love you!")

Monday:
Daddy and Addie done with dinner and playing on the floor while Ayson plays with his food...

Tuesday:
Addie was not happy... her ball had rolled away...and Daddy did not give it back right away :)

Daddy practicing his juggling skills (a step up from apples)

Neighbor Gianna stopped by for a visit.

Wednesday:
Addie posing in her cute dress with a pout face.  The apple must feel good on her gums.

Thursday:
Sandbox time!  Check out Addie's cute sandals (and those little legs!!)...too bad Mommy did not buy the next size up because these sandals will barely make it through this summer.

What a great smile from the big guy!

Saturday was the "Rib Off" with Daddy's side of the family.  We had 3 grill masters and they ALL tied in terms of tastiness:)  Notice the black object next to the utility vehicle...that is a tent rolling around with 3 kids in side.

Grandpa Chuck and Addie sitting in the shade.  LouLou gave Addie a pair of pink Timberland boots and this was Addie's first time wearing them.  The boots are a bit big but will get lots of use this fall/winter :)

The grills and the audience supervising from the shade.

Pama and the kids.  The kids LOVED Grandpa Chuck and Pama's pop-up trailer!

Addie was fascinated with Grandma Collene's mouth while she was taking to Jerry (family friend)

A big smile!

Uncle Dan did a number on his cup...

Daddy cooked quesadillas, fajitas, ribs, and brisket plus he brought corn from our garden...we were all stuffed!  In addition to that, everyone else brought sides and ribs!!!

Ayson playing in the can that was used to transport the kid toys.  Mommy brought her back packing tent (in the background) so the kids would have somewhere of their own to play.

The three kids rolled that tent all over the grass and then when we unhooked the tent polls (so they would not get broken), the kids still played in the tent!

Barbara (Dan's Mom), Kaela, and Uncle Dan going for a ride while crazy Auntie Julie is in the background.

Addie getting some quality time with Grandpa Ric and Daddy.

Addie was a vulture when it came to Grandma's food :)

After the meal, we had a nice bonfire.  A^4 camped out in our 2 room tent.

Sunday morning:
Ayson playing with real legos and Addie playing with a baby doll and stroller...to cute!
