Gianna surprised us and came over to wish Ayson a great first day/orientation on Wednesday. It was Gianna's first day at her new school too: Christian Brothers Academy (notice her uniform of kakhis and pale blue button down shirt).

Ayson playing in his class room on orientation day. His Pre-K teacher is Mrs Nicholson and she is loved by everyone...yay!

Ayson is now in a wrap around day care program which is lead by Beverly Oliver (she lives near us and Mommy is friends with her). Mrs Oliver has been a day care provider at the LaFayette Elementary School for over 20 years!!! Ayson starts his day on the school bus (used to be a 7:20 pick up but now it looks like he will get picked up at 7 am...eek!), gets to school and has breakfast (he also eats before he leaves the house :), then he goes to Mrs Oliver's until 11, then lunch, then off to Mrs Nicholson's until 2:15 pm. From 2:15 until 4 pm, he is back in the day care program until Mommy picks him up. THEN we go and get Addie from Linda's house :)
Ayson and Mrs Oliver...nice pose, Ayson!

After Wednesday orientation, Mommy, Daddy, and Ayson went and got ice cream and then went to the "big" park for a little fun (Addie was still at Linda's).

Thursday morning waiting for the bus! Ayson was so excited!!!! Addie cried because SHE wanted to ride the bus too :) After school, Ayson told us that he missed Addie while he was at school...he mentioned being "all alone" and that he missed Addie...and Sam too (the little 3 year old boy who goes to Linda's).
Thursday was a little "bumpy" for Ayson as we did not know about the breakfast option (so he had to wait on the bus while others got off to eat), and he is a slow poke when it comes to eating so he did not apparently eat all of his lunch. BUT he said other than that, his first day was good!

Good bye hug to Daddy!

First Day of Pre-K photo taken at school:
On Friday, we knew what to expect and with the breakfast taken care of and a little bit of food coaching from Mommy and Daddy ("Ayson, you can't just sit at the table and talk...you have to eat because you won't be able to take your food back to your classroom") Ayson said everything about the day was great!
When Mommy picked Ayson up on Friday, she found him in the gym playing (it was too hot outside). Mommy did not see Ayson running around (which is unusual)...instead she saw him across the gym with his head in a little girls lap and the girl was petting Ayson's head...they were pretending to be cats...lol!
Daddy brushing Addie's hair.

On Friday afternoon, Ayson and Addie were playing a game where Addie would hold on to Ayson's shorts, and then he would tip backwards...it cracked both of them up. Mommy loves their smiles!

Saturday was cool and overcast but we still managed to play outside. Then we moved inside and all the kids played with the magnetic dolls and had fun dressing them up.

On Sunday, A^4 went to Pratts Falls to check out the milk weed "crop" and enjoy the beginning of fall.

The kiddos checking out a toad on the side of the trail.

We all had fun making Touch Me Nots explode their seed pods.

Pretty field BUT our milk weed field is being taken over by golden rod...A^4 needs to start spreading more milk weed seeds! More to come later this fall :)

A path along the edge of the most northerly field. Both Mommy and Daddy ended up carrying the kiddos on the way back..we sure got a work out!

Once the kids saw the play ground equipment, they took off running!
