Ayson and Addie received chocolate and a paintable sun catcher from Grandma Pat and Grandpa Roger in the mail on Monday! Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa!!
On Tuesday, Addie insisted on having her picture taken while she s l o w l y ate her dinner while Ayson and Mommy were busy at the table.
Mommy helping Ayson spell the names of his classmates so that Ayson could fill out his valentine's cards: mustache tattoos for the boys and etching flowers for the girls. Ayson was able to figure out the names of his classmates with only a few missed guesses. Ayson noticed that many of the names ended like HIS name ("son" as in Jason, Jackson...)
On Thursday, Mommy attended Ayson's valentine's day party in the afternoon. Before the party, Ayson asked Mommy to hold his hand during the entire party. Mommy did not think Ayson would really insist on the hand holding, but he did! He was such a cutie and it was great to be able to watch him interact with his classmates.

After Pre-K ended around 2:30, Mommy went with Ayson to the wrap around program (just down the hall) and played with legos with Ayson and his friends.

On Saturday, the kids wanted to build a house so we built one big enough for the kiddos to stand up in...Addie pretending to sleep in the house.

Ayson requested a better blanket over the house and then he turned the house into his "lab" that he uses to build dinosaurs and robots.
Ayson wiring this dinosaur to ice hoping that when the ice melted, the dinosaur would come ALIVE! Ayson insisted he had the "technology" to make the dinosaur come alive (his word, not mine!)
Addie placed kiwi on top of her pizza and then ate it that way...hmmm, sort of like fresh sweet tomatoes :)

Ayson made a valentine heart for each of us and then also drew Addie a picture with her as a princess and Ayson as a prince! Thanks, Ayson!
The weather on Saturday night turned nasty but luckily, A^4 did not go anywhere because we decided to cook a fantastic Indian meal at home: chicken korma, rise with peas, tandoori chicken, cauliflower, Indian style carrots, and garlic naan. We are STILL eating like kings and queens! As the korma was sweet, the kiddos actually ate it! Of course they loved the naan!

On Monday, Mommy and Ayson had the day off, so A^3 stayed home and did all sorts of activities.
We painted the sun catchers.
Played with kinetic sand.
Ayson worked on his numbers and colors.
TaDa!
As it was too cold to play outside, Mommy broke out the fort sections and the kids had a blast playing in the "houses" and tunnels. They pretending to be cats, to be in school, and to be a Mommy and Daddy. Ayson wanted a tunnel connected to his lab so he could get to it in an emergency.
