A^4 left Auntie Holly's a little before 9 am and drove north to Roscommon MI where we stopped for a visit and lunch with friends of Mommy and Daddy's (Mommy's college girlfriends, Lori and Jen, and their families).
Brian (Lori's husband) showing the kiddos the egg laying boxes.

The kids got to pick out eggs to take to Grandma Pat's house!

Lori giving the kids bread to feed the chickens.

The kids were sort of like chickens in that they crowded Lori wanting more bread :)

Lunch outside. THANKS Lori, Brian, and Jen for providing all of the yummy eats!

There we go!

The girls. Wow, Mommy did not realize she was so much taller than Jen and Lori (and Mommy is not even wearing sandals with heels!)

After a too short visit, A^4 got back into the car and we continued our drive north to the Sault (Soo).
We made it just in time for a snack and then the Fourth of July parade! The kids collected an obscene amount of candy and ended up sharing it with their cousins!!!

Addie LOVED the horses!

On our way back to Grandma and Grandpa's house after the parade, we stopped by a local flower shop that always has gorgeous wild flowers in the front of the business.

We watched the fireworks from Grandma and Grandpa's back deck with friends of Grandma and Grandpa's. One new friend had just gotten back from a lacrosse camp and was giving Ayson tips on how to improve his throw!

As you can see, the Soo needs rain too!
