On the morning of 6/27, Mommy got a text from her friend, Noelle, asking Mommy if she would go to a Def Leppard concert that night (in Syracuse) with Noelle as her husband had to cancel. Noelle was really REALLY excited for the concert so Mommy said yes:) Mommy was surprised that she recognized all but two songs and Mommy and Noelle had a great time :)
The opening bands were Tesla (Mommy loved them when she was a teenager) and REO Speedwagon...great concert!
On Tuesday night, Mommy ended up calling the cops at 12:45 am as a neighbor (across the street from the park) was having a loud (read underage) house party...on a Tuesday night!!! Daddy watched the kids scatter once the cops arrived. Who throws a party on a Tuesday night?!?!? We think the parent must have been gone for the night because it was all teenagers being oblivious to the neighbors.
Anyway, below is how Mommy felt after not getting enough sleep 2 nights in a row :)
Sometimes Mommy will find Addie turned sideways or even turned all the way around in her bed when Mommy checks on her before going to bed.
The rest of the week was spent getting ready for our vacation to Michigan and lacrosse practice.
On Saturday, we officially started our vacation...and we made it as far as Grandma Collene's house:)
Mommy, Grandma Collene, and Auntie Julie went to a Chris Young concert while Daddy and Uncle Dan stayed at Grandma's with the kids. Thanks, Daddy! We three ladies had a fantastic time!
