A flash back to Addie's first day of FIRST grade :)

Mommy's office for Tuesday and Wednesday! She needed to collect water, sediment, invertebrate, and fish samples before a rain event and she lucked out with perfect (and warm) days before the weather turned cold and rainy!

Grandma Pat, this picture of Addie in her dress and little high heels is for you:)

Hi Ayson!

The kiddos

On Wednesday, Daddy took the kiddos to their well child visits. All is well with the kids. The Dr said that Ayson needs to eat a little less (more veggies and less starch) and that Addie needs to eat more so that she can grow big and strong!

Our cat, Mason, died Wednesday night at the age of 14 1/2. Mommy had been able to nurse him back to health two times previously but this time Mason did not pull through :( We told the kids Thursday morning that we would have a memorial service that afternoon for Mason to tell him goodbye. He was such a mellow cat and he LOVED Mommy and Daddy and let the kids do pretty much anything to him (probably attention starved, poor guy!) He will be missed!

Mason got stuck on the screen and he was mad that we laughed at him and had the nerve to take a picture BEFORE we helped him get down :)

Saying our last goodbyes to Mason.
The kids invited our friends and neighbors, Ms Annie (from the After School Program) and her husband Mr. Bob to attend the memorial service for Mason:) We had a small "service" in the side flower garden where we shared fond memories of Mason and then we buried him with his blanket and toys.

Then we celebrated his life with dinner with our friends :)

The pumpkin launcher! Highlight for the kids and the Dads!

Daddy and Ayson went to Grandma Collene's Friday afternoon so that Daddy could hunt and help plant garlic on Saturday!

Meanwhile, Mommy and Addie had a date night Friday night. Addie request Bone Fish Grill -where she ordered a cheeseburger ;P Mommy taught Addie how to make stars on the paper table cloth!

On Saturday, Addie, Mikhan, Sunshine, and Mommy attended the Fairy Festival at Baltimore Woods. We went last year and had a magical time! The girls had SO much fun this year but both Sunshine and Mommy were COLD!!! The cloudy skies, cool temps (low 50s), and intermittent rain did not stop the girls from exploring and having fun!

The TROLL!!! The girls had to win a "gold" coin at the games in order to give the coin to the Troll so that the girls could cross the bridge.

Story time with the Fairy Queen. The story was about a little boy building fairy houses - so of course we then had to go build more fairy houses:)

The girls had SO much fun!

After the Fairy Festival, Mommy and Addie drove to Grandma's house to spend the night and visit with family.
