Apple Festival Weekend

A busy but short week for the kiddos as they had Friday off.  It was Apple Festival weekend and we had to work at the Cub Scout Booth both Saturday and Sunday.  Grandma Collene and Aunt Becky came out for a visit and to go to the festival. Addie also had a birthday party to attend on Sunday in between visits to the Apple Festival.  We are all looking forward to having Monday off together :)

Mommy rocking Ayson on Monday (he was almost too heavy to pick up!) after he bonked his head on the freezer door.

Where is the mountain? Morning fog.

Gorgeous sunrise

On Friday, Grandma Collene came over for a visit and we went to Red Robin for dinner.  Yum!

Science experiment with milk, food coloring, and soap: exploring surface tension and properties of soap!

On Saturday, Mommy and Ayson worked the Cub Scout booth at the Apple Festival

Ayson is to the left of the picture and Mommy is to the right and in the back (prepping food)

While Mommy and Ayson worked, Addie shopped with Grandma Collene and Aunt Becky.
Face painting!!!

Addie found a mirror and kept looking at her kitty face :)

The Merry Go Round!

After working, we checked out the rides!
Addie's thrill

AND Ayson's thrill.  Ayson wanted to sit near the back so that he would go up high - ugh!

Then on to games

We must not forget the Apple Ponies!!!!

The "real" Cardiff Giant

A hoax that brought fame and tourists to Cardiff and Syracuse.

Addie attended a birthday party on Sunday afternoon while Adam and Ayson worked at the Apple Festival.  The girls painted and decorated a letter (their first name letter), danced, and made jewelry (the Mom is a teacher and was Ayson's first grade teacher, Mrs Zehner -so very organized :)

Decorating their letters :)

After the party, we went back to the Apple Festival and visited the petting zoo
