Happy Birthday Grandpa Roger and Halloween Parties!

We hope that all of our friends and family had a happy and healthy week!  The kids had an eventful week at school: a visit with the State Police and their police dogs on Wednesday:)  The kids got to meet a German shepherd and a bloodhound :)  We sang Happy Birthday to Grandpa Roger on Wednesday evening!!  Happy Birthday, Grandpa :)  On Thursday, Addie had a field trip to the fire station.  Last but not least was the school Halloween Party on Friday night.  We had a cub scout event on Saturday afternoon and made grape jelly (from our grapes!) and got the yard ready for winter on Sunday.

Funny story - at least now anyway-  Mommy and Daddy sleep with their door closed (to keep the room cool and to block out the light from the multiple night lights that each kid has in their rooms).  Last week, Addie had been waking up around 2 - 3 am and knocking on our door to ask if it is time to get up.  ugh.  Mommy gave her a clock for her room so that she can see the time AND told her that she is not allowed to get out of bed (or wake Mommy and Daddy up) until 6 am during the week (we are already up but we had to give her a time!) and 7 am on the weekend.

Friday night was the school Halloween party.  It just so happened that the power went out at the school which made the party even more spooky!

On Saturday, we had a family cub scout event: pumpkin carving, games, and dinner.
